Website Developer Role Responsibilities
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsibile for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Build, Develop code in Node.js/Express/Docker/React familiarity with RESTfull API's and programming.
Website Developer job qualifications and requirements
Whilst a degree isn’t mandatory for an Website Developer role, an understanding of basic programming skills is required.
- 2+ years experience working in a website developer role
- 2+ years with Node.js/Express/Nosql Database, Google Web Console, Bing Website Console
- 2+ years with HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery
- 2+ years with Ecommerce payments and API integrations
- 2+ working with XML and JSON Datasets.
- Capability of prioritizing and delegating responsibilities
- A familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Courses/Diploma or Training as a Website Developer
- Willing to learn new software skills & attend educational training courses.
- Work Experience or College Training or University.
